RF Microneedling
in Dartford

Microneedling with radiofrequency energy delivered at depth on our Criss RF Matrix Pro — used to target laxity and firmness alongside surface texture. One practitioner, one private treatment room.

What it is

Two treatments, working together

Radiofrequency (RF) microneedling combines two things. Fine needles create controlled micro-channels that prompt the skin's own repair response, and radiofrequency energy is delivered at depth through those needles — targeting laxity and firmness as well as surface texture.

At Bellavita we use the Criss RF Matrix Pro, a bipolar RF microneedling system. Needle depth adjusts from 0.2 mm to 3.5 mm and the energy can be fine-tuned, so each area of the face is treated at the setting that suits it: gentler where skin is delicate, deeper where it is thicker.

It differs from our standard microneedling with Dermapen, which works on texture, scarring and fine lines without the RF energy. Your skin analysis will tell you which one makes sense for you.

Who it suits

What RF microneedling can help with

RF microneedling may suit you if you want to:

  • Improve the look of uneven skin texture.
  • Soften the appearance of scarring.
  • Target the look of mild laxity and loss of firmness.
  • Refine the appearance of fine lines and enlarged-looking pores.

It is not suitable for everyone. Pregnancy, active skin infection or cold sores in the area, a tendency to keloid scarring, some medications and implanted electronic devices such as pacemakers may mean treatment is unsuitable or needs to wait. Your consultation confirms suitability.

How many sessions

A short course, not a one-off

Collagen stimulation takes time, so RF microneedling is usually planned as a short course rather than a single session, with time between sessions for the skin to recover. The number of sessions and the spacing are set at your consultation, based on your skin and what you want to achieve. Changes build gradually over the following weeks, and results vary between individuals.

Downtime & aftercare

Downtime and aftercare

Redness for a day or two is typical, sometimes with mild swelling or a warm, tight feeling. You will be given written aftercare at your appointment. The essentials:

  • No make-up for 24 hours, while the micro-channels close.
  • Use SPF 50 daily, and avoid sunbeds and deliberate sun exposure for the rest of your course.
  • Avoid saunas, steam rooms, swimming and the gym for 48 hours.
  • Skip retinoids, exfoliating acids and fragranced products until your skin has settled.
  • Do not pick or scrub any dry or flaking skin.
  • Contact us straight away if you notice anything that concerns you. Iza personally checks in with you after your treatment, and you can message her directly on WhatsApp with any question while your skin settles.

Common questions

Before you book

How is it different from standard microneedling?

Standard microneedling with Dermapen creates controlled micro-channels that prompt the skin's repair response, and is used for texture, scarring and fine lines. RF microneedling adds radiofrequency energy delivered at depth, so it also targets laxity and firmness.

Does it hurt?

Most people feel some discomfort, which varies with the area and the settings used. Izabela will explain what to expect at your consultation and check in with you throughout the treatment.

How much downtime should I plan for?

Redness for a day or two is typical. Plan your session at least a few days before anything important, and ask us about timing at your consultation.

How many sessions will I need?

Usually a short course rather than one session. The exact number and spacing depend on your skin and your goals, and are confirmed at your consultation.

When might I see a difference?

Some people notice smoother-looking skin once the redness settles, but changes from collagen stimulation build gradually over the following weeks. Results vary between individuals.

Is it suitable for everyone?

No. Pregnancy, active skin infection, some medications, a tendency to keloid scarring and implanted electronic devices such as pacemakers can rule it out or mean waiting. Treatments are for clients aged 18 and over, and your consultation confirms suitability.
