Skin Boosters & Polynucleotides
in Dartford

Two injectable treatments focused on skin quality rather than volume — skin boosters for hydration and glow, and polynucleotides for skin quality and elasticity, particularly around the eyes.

What it is

Better skin quality, not added volume

Both treatments use a series of fine micro-injections across the skin, and both are about quality rather than shape. They are not designed to add volume or change your features.

Skin boosters

Micro-injections of hydrating actives placed across the face to improve skin quality and glow rather than to add volume. The aim is skin that looks better hydrated and more even.

Polynucleotides

A treatment used to improve the look of skin quality, hydration and elasticity — particularly around the eyes and across thinner skin. Polynucleotides are purified DNA fragments, typically derived from fish.

Who it suits

What skin boosters and polynucleotides can help with

These treatments may suit you if you have:

  • Skin that looks dehydrated, dull or tired.
  • Fine, crepey-looking skin, including around the eyes.
  • Skin that has lost some of its bounce and elasticity.
  • A preference for fresher-looking skin without changing your features.

They are not suitable for everyone. Pregnancy or breastfeeding, active skin infection or cold sores in the area, blood-thinning medication, some medical conditions and known allergies to any ingredient — including fish allergy for polynucleotides — may rule treatment out. Your consultation confirms suitability.

Your appointment

What happens on the day

01Consultation — medical history, medication and allergies reviewed, and which treatment suits your skin explained.
02Preparation — the skin is cleansed and disinfected, and the treatment areas mapped.
03Treatment — a series of fine micro-injections placed across the agreed areas.
04Aftercare — small raised marks are expected at first. You leave with written aftercare and your next date.

A consultation is required for injectable treatments — it is part of doing the treatment properly, not a formality. The free computer skin analysis is a good place to start.

How many sessions

Planned as a course

Skin boosters and polynucleotides work on skin quality from within, so they need a course rather than one session. The number of sessions and the spacing between them depend on the treatment, your skin and your goals, and are confirmed in writing at your consultation. Changes build gradually, and maintenance may be suggested once a course is complete. Results vary between individuals.

Downtime & aftercare

Downtime and aftercare

Downtime varies by person and is discussed in full at your consultation. Small bumps at the injection points are common and usually settle within a day or two; some people also see redness, swelling or bruising. The essentials:

  • Avoid touching the area or wearing make-up for at least 12 hours.
  • Avoid alcohol, intense exercise, saunas and steam rooms for 24 hours.
  • Avoid facials, massage and other skin treatments on the area for two weeks.
  • No sunbeds, and wear SPF daily.
  • Contact us straight away if you notice increasing pain, spreading redness or anything that concerns you. Iza personally checks in with you after your treatment, and you can message her directly on WhatsApp with any question while your skin settles.

Common questions

Before you book

What is the difference between skin boosters and polynucleotides?

Both aim to improve skin quality rather than add volume. Skin boosters deliver hydrating actives for hydration and glow. Polynucleotides are used to improve skin quality and elasticity, particularly around the eyes and on thinner skin. Your consultation will recommend one, the other, or neither.

Will it change the shape of my face?

No. These treatments are not designed to add volume or change your features. The aim is skin that looks healthier and better hydrated.

How many sessions will I need?

A course rather than one session. The number and spacing depend on the treatment and your skin, and are confirmed in writing at your consultation.

Is there downtime?

Small bumps at the injection points are common and usually settle within a day or two. Some people get redness, swelling or bruising, so avoid booking right before an important event.

Can I have polynucleotides if I have a fish allergy?

Tell us before you book. Polynucleotides are typically derived from fish DNA, so an allergy may make them unsuitable. This is checked at your consultation.

Who carries out the treatment?

Izabela Zagórska, who holds four Ofqual-regulated VTCT/ITEC qualifications, advanced injectables training and full treatment liability insurance. Treatments are for clients aged 18 and over.
